Pascoe Pop Art Hong Kong FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q 1. Do I have to pay in full up front?

Not at all. Unlike nearly overy other "photo to art" service we don't require full upfront payment. All we require is a fully refundable HKD $100 deposit, simply to ensure we are dealing with serious customers. Full Payment is only required after you have seen and approved our artist's proof via email. Even after receiving your goods we offer a full money back refund if you are in any way unsatisfied.

Q 2. Where are the portraits produced?
Our portraits are all printed here in Hong Kong.

Q 3. What kind of photograph should I supply?
Our artists can work with any kind of photo, so just pick a style from our order page, choose a size option and follow the steps to upload any photo that you have. Our artists will let you know if the photo is unsuitable for any reason

Q 4. How long does it take to order a portrait?
The artwork process usually takes between 1 and 4 days. Once you approve the final artwork, the printing process usually takes between 7 - 10 days. Then allow another day or two for delivery to your door. However if there is urgency to your order, we will do the best we can to get the portrait to you in a shorter time frame (3-7 days). Just let us know if that is the case..

Q 5. Are taxes and delivery included in the price?
All taxes are included and you only have to pay a single flat delivery fee.

Q 6. What do I need to do to order a portrait?
Click the "Order" link above to begin the process. Simply use our Custom Wizard to choose the size, style and colors you'd like and submit your photograph. Our artists then create the art to suit your needs then email you the art to approve. Once approved, the portrait is sent to our excellent canvas printers and the final masterpiece sent straight to you.

Q 7. Do you offer any guarantee?

Q 10. How is the art created?
The art is created by using computer art technologies and fine art techniques. Most of the detail is done off the computer and most of the color shading and filling is done with software.

Q 11. Do you offer any other styles?
Yes we do. Please contact us if the style you'd like doesn't appear in our gallery or on our Custom Wizard.

Q 12. Can I request changes to the artist's proofs?
Yes. We are able to make any changes requested by our customers.

Q 13. What do you mean "Canvas Printing"?
Canvas printing is a new printing techniques (also known as "Giclee Printing" that transfers images onto canvases which are then stretched and mounted. The results are very distinctive and look much closer to painted works than photograhs. We use only the best canvas for the artwork and the best craftsmen for this work.

Q 14. How durable are the printed canvases?
Pascoe Pop Art canvases are all treated to last for many, many years. The inking process sinks the colors deep into the canvas weave, so that in normal circumstances, the artworks should last a lifetime.
